Shadow..JTScott .. You guys crack me up This theory y'all have that a person with no experience can do the better job is funny. I hope this doesn't scare y'all to bad but one of the Superior Court Judges is stepping down from his Judgeship this year and every person running for this position is a Lawyer!!! Wonder why? just another conspiracy I guess you know how these Lawyers are always doing each other favors. Could you guys try and get a couple of truck drivers to enter the race for judge.or maybe a short order cook ? Hey I know get Carter Brown to run for judge I'm sure he would have that one down in no time at all. Oops that would not leave anyone to run against Painter. Let me see now didn't one of you guys call Painter a Nut ?? Have you ever heard that old saying it takes one to know one ? |

mdsp and shadow: The Central of Georgia Railroad is listed as the owner of the rail spur, which includes approximately 2 acres.mdsp: it is my understanding that some of the county employees negotiated driving a county car instead of a higher salary. Would you support taking the cars away and compensating those employees for not having a car? I agree that there are some employees that take advantage of having a car and they do use it as a personal vehicle and for that I do agree that those people should be ashamed. But there are those county employees that do have county cars and drive them only for work purposes. If this was part of the agreement for their salary and they do not use it for personal use, I don't feel that these employees have anything to be ashamed of. |

Don't forget that there are Democrats in most of these races!! They just have not been given the same exposure as their Republican counterparts due to the fact that the Democrat races are unopposed. They will probably not be given much press until after the primary, when their races "Really" begin. |

I commend Brad Scott for being involved in the "political process". We would probably be better off if more people were involved. Having said that, I do not believe Brad Scott is ready for a position of this magnitude.Look at his website and the information that is included. I don't know if I would say that some of it is untrue (ShiningStar). I think it is more "mis-leading". I do not know if it is done "intentional" but I believe it to be misleading. Look at his examples of "proven leadership". They list things such as : Elected to various "Republican Party" positions President of the Catoosa Young Republicans County Chair of the Bush Campaign Member of the GA Right To Life and the National Rifle Assoc Youth Minister Been on an India Mission Trip First name basis with various state officials High School Class President These are all notable examples but I wonder how most are really relevant to the position of State Representative. Another example is Brad's Plan to Lower Gas Prices. He portrays on his website that this is "His" plan. This has been talked about for months by a host of other elected officials and candidates as an option that needs to be looked at. Brad would have come across better by just saying that "he supports the idea of changing the method GA uses to tax motor fuels". Not by trying to make us think that this was his "original" idea. I just do not think he is ready (qualified) for this honor. And it is an "honor" to serve your fellow citizens in this manner. Maybe he should run for city council or a county office first and get a little "elected" experience. Just a few thoughts. |

Not only do we need to remember on the 4th of July all the ones who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms, we need to remember those that take our freedoms away. bo woods, bobby lee cook, connelly just to name a few. There are other attorneys and people of low integrity within the LMJCC who need to be recognized for their efforts in taking our freedoms away. Please give them what they deserve. |

I did hear something about a fundraiser with Zack Wamp. I have also heard that some of the things that he list on his website about himself are not true. |

Since you say that Instead Billy Mullis was working....I would say it is because he has a job and was required to work the Freedom Festival. Since he is a LaFayette City Policeman, I would say that he was scheduled to work, wouldn't you? |

Wow that Brad kid did a lot of serving others or was it a All about me ( Brad ) thing?
For sure the kid was busy in such a short time.
He just has to be Kidding!!
I too believe Brad to be misleading even untrue.
Look at his examples of "his proven leadership";
Which postions was the kid Elected to on various "Republican Party Positions",
what were the terms held? What County?
President of the Catoosa Young Republicans for how long & how old was the kid?,
County Chair of the Bush Campaign which ones?, he must have just got got of diapers,
How long a member of the GA Right To Life, oh was that with Ralph Reed, and the National Rifle Assoc, again terms and the kids age at that time,
Youth Minister, interesting where & how long has he been involed with youth & which county?
Been on an India Mission Trip, sounds like a great vacation & who paid his way?
First Name basis with various state officials, like Ron F., Jeff M, Jay N, Don T, Tom D, Sonny etc. etc,
who cares and is this not funny!,
High School Class President, what years and again what term & times?,
He has NO "original" ideas, just a puppet & the GOP boy toy!
I along with many votes think he is NOT ready, honest, qualified to hold any
county or state Elected ( by all the Votes )Office
