here here! The time traveler is hovering just outside the ozone layer- refueling for the next leap into tomorrow. Does anyone think a trial date will be set before this time next year? TT |

Hello. I am still here just baking in the wonderful weather we are having.July 4th a symbol of freedom is among us......... Theresa paid the highest price to receive her freedom, although it wasn't here in earthly form. Being the angel that she seemed to be she has her freedom and I am sure that she has her wings, looking down and watching over everyone. On this 4th, lets remember the many men and women fighting for us in Iraq, the men and women that have lost their lives to bring us this freedom and those that made it home safe. Lets also remember Theresa and her family and the many friends that she has had. Those that have also come together and the many friendships that were made here online and elsewhere due to the tragic event that occurred. Although we may have difference of opinion the main aspect most never lost sight of. I just pray that this will be brought to a close soon. |

Hello, my forum friends! Let's have a roll call and at least show support for Theresa's family. Every holiday has to be hard, and we need to keep the activity going. I never forget Theresa's family in my prayers! |

Too many days with no activity. Anyone heard anything? I've been doing some more walking and looking around my place. Seems like a helpless thing to do, but at least it is something. |

I think she is close by.I think he will take his chances with a trial since there is no body.If he is convicted and the death penalty is sought he may give up the location in exchange for a life in prison sentence. |

CSS4Comm4Thanks for the correction. After thinking about how bo woods slept through most of a trial I attended he must be psychic because he made a ruling without hearing half the witnesses testify. Or maybe he was at david cunninghams house the night before and they tried the case there and already planned the outcome. What an idiot. |

lol, CSS4Comm4! you run out of papers to grade?I'm going to use my "physic" abilities and say that you are a person. You are between the ages of 18 and 100. You are a former or current english teacher who enjoys correcting posts with typos and spelling errors on community blogs. You also disagree with everyone who does not agree with you. You have little tolerance for people in positions of authority who do not pronounce words properly. -oh, and you are scanning my post as you read for mistakes and mispelled words. (hopefully I subconsciously put some in here for you.) Am I close? |

GaGal. Sounds to me like you're reading from an interrogation script as opposed to yourpsychic vision. what did you think of the story line vwn posted sent to him by the psychic? Did I miss the red truck thing? what about the serial aspects of SP's behavior? any of it ring with you? TT btw. whats got your good buddy LPatterson hung up? Is she going to bring the case to trial or wait to see if shes re-elected in Nov.? |

Wait, wait.....something just came to me. I'm sensing that TT stays up until the wee hours of the morning and then sleeps late. I bet his wife rolls her eyes every time she walks by and sees him on the computer. I also see that he sometimes likes to drink something liquid, with a dark color that is sort of brown or maroon or maybe orangish. I also get the feeling that he shares his life with a woman that has an A, E, I, O, or U in her name - I think it's his wife but then again it could be a daughter or a mother or grandmother or maybe just a friend. That's all I'm seeing for now. |

"Something about those eyes"....I hear that a lot in real life too. Don't you men have any other lines? LOL. As far as psychic abilities, sorry to disappoint you but I don't have any although if I had a little more energy right now I coulod probably come up with enough to convince you I may. Maybe when I've recovered from my vacation, I'll see a little more clearly and come up with something, :). |

rome- the psychic DID tell us where the crime was committed. Come on. There ain't THATmany pines trees near sand in GA/TN. Its a process of elimination. The psychic aint gonna do it all for ya. If you don't see sand and pine trees at the same time- keep walking. GaGal. something about those eyes... Those lovely and talented eyes. The eyes that speak of secretive romance and the ability to see right through me....... are you psychic? TT |

LOL TT.......now THAT is funny............but back to the topic................. 1) GaGal claims that she knows that there was no romance and knows this because she was personally connected to the young lady who died in the car crash.......notice her testimony is based on A) her conversations with one of the involved parties and B) her life-long knowledge of SP and the other lady's relationship from childhood.................................could they have been having a secret romance, Sure........but GaGal bases her opinion on her observations of the parties involved...... 2) Psychic claims to know exactly how the murder happened, down to the detail of knowing that SP became dismayed at one point during the disposal stage...................but can't tell us where.................and what does the psychic base this knowledge on.????????? The Psychic would have us believe it comes from special powers..............it's my contention that THAT is hogwash........not the actual theories made by the psychic, but the implication that the psychic's theory is more accurate than anyone else's because the psychic is blessed.............................. |

TT - No offense taken; I'm not quick to make assumptions based on "hearsay" either. I'm the type of person who wants proof and who rarely takes anything I don't see for my own eyes as the absolute truth. That's another reason you can believe it when I say that they were strictly friends. I'm not going to go into my relationship with anybody or tell specifics because I don't want my identity out there but I've got 1st hand knowledge about this one, straight from the horse's mouth (not SP). Also, I didn't talk to "the nurse" after SP left her house but I did talk to her daughter and based on what she had told her daughter about the situation, she still believed in him as did her daughter. |

Ahhh hhhhA. Allow me to recap for clarity sake: RGS introduced testimony from the lovely and talented GaGaL, using said testimony as evidence to claim victory in an argument with TT. TT rebuked the testimony from GG as hearsay and unreliable information, thereby discounting RGS's argument as invalid. In desperation RGS attempted to slander TT's character by accusing TT of not being a gentleman to the regular woman poster, the lovely and talented GG. RGS - now you hide behind the skirt of the lovely and talented GG. You RGS are one shameless Chicken Fryer. For it is not the veracity or the judgment of the lovely and talented GG which I question. It is your use of GG's testimony in a manner inconsistent with your own rulings. A brief study of the RGS case law quarterly would quickly show that you often chastise a certain reporter for repeating hearsay as fact. "Hearsay" you have essentially argued, is the stuff of paparazzi and sensationalist journalism, neither of which one should find worthy of the time it wastes to read. You can't have your chicken dinner and eat it too. Perhaps you should sleep off the KENTUCKY spirits before poking the ornery and defensive TT as he prepares to do battle in the trenches of family law. TT |

From GaGal "As far as the nurse, RomeGa is right - the person who said their relationship was not a romatic one was me and I can guarantee that."now what you got to say????? (backs up while holding both arms up above head in a challenge formation of "what you gonna do now?" ) What Ive got to say about that is, who told GaGal? Was GGal in the house with SP and theNURSE? If so, did GGal stay awake to make sure SP and theNURSE never slipped off and got romantic? Did GaGal personally speak to the nurse after SP left the residence? If not, then we have nothing here but speculation. That's what I would have to say about that. (Nothing personal GaGaL. This one's betwixt me and Rome.) Rome- you were doing pretty good there until you got to the mississippi thing. Likely because you are having trouble with the timeline on me. I once lived on both sides of the Mississippi at the same time. Did it for 3 and a half years. The time machine was stuck in a reverb loop that just had to work itself out. The net effect was essentially zero time elapsed but most people would not have caught it because it all happened so fast and slow. uh-oh. what's that I see? RomegaSir knows something about the missing drumsticks- yep. I see him shoving two extra crispy into his left pocket and two into his right. He took them to his house where........ he............ placed them under his mattress. hey, im just telling it like I see it. TT |

Hi guys. I've been gone on vacation & came back to find myself behind on all the posts (glad the blog has been more active). Just a few things I want to add - As far as Theresa's family, I can understand having questions in your own mind about why they're doing or not doing certain things but I would never even come close to criticizing them. None of us know what they're going through and none of us have been in their shoes to know what we'd be doing or not doing. As far as search places, the police aren't going to tell the public every single spot they've searched. What if the person responsible knew every detail and they could move evidence around according to places that had and had not been searched? If I was in their position, I'd be taking the advice of the GBI and FBI and not telling things they asked me not to tell either. That could harm the investigation, as well as mean that they wouldn't tell me any other developments that arise. As far as what NWGAMOM said, she told you what a psychic has said, not anything that the police have said. There's a big difference. Also, the family has no control over the Theresa Parker board that she is a moderator of. They approve of it (hence the link from Theresa's website that the family had created, but they didn't set the message board up or decide who moderates it. The family has been in agony for way too long now, and I commend them for their composure and caring spirit that they have shown through all of this. I've seen nothing but compassion and selflessness out of a family who has every right to feel anger along with so much more. Of course, everyone has the right to express how they feel and I'm not trying to deny anyone that but when it comes to the family I'd say show them some respect, understand they've lost someone so dear to them and are just as clueless as we are when it comes to what to do about it but that they haven't given up hope on finding her. They deserve nothing less than our prayers and support - not our criticism. As far as the psychic, I also knew this information before so don't feel like you were singled out VWN. Like Aleamon said, NWGAMOM only gave you the information b/c she has faith in the psychic and thought you truly wanted to know of places to search to lend your help. If I was out of hope and had nothing to lose, I'd probably listen to what a psychic had to say too but with that said I don't have much faith in them. As far as the nurse, RomeGa is right - the person who said their relationship was not a romatic one was me and I can guarantee that. They were friends and had been since childhood and did not date (she grew up across the street from his parents' home in Trion, their parents were friends (possibly even kin in a distant way although I can't remember for sure), and they went to school together and hung out together. She actually moved back into her parents' home in recent years and lived there until about 1-1/2 years before she died. The part about her freaking out when Theresa went missing is completely untrue. She believed in him until the end and he stayed with her some in the weeks after Theresa's disappearance to get away from the media. SHE WAS NOT A GIRLFRIEND!!!!!! I wish a psychic could help but I feel exactly like Rome does - everything that she said has been said on this blog. Even when she got on Judy O'Neil and said that about him being responsible for killing the nurse, it had already been discussed here publicly. As usual, just a small portion of my 2 cents. My thoughts and prayers are still with Theresa and her family. A day doesn't go by that I don't check this blog and think about them. |

Well,I can't edit my last comment :( They only have one previous indictment that has been quashed. My previous post reads that they already have two previous indictments quashed. That is not true. Sorry. They did have to re-indict Harper because the Georgia Supreme Court Justices threw out the first indictment. |

romegasir,I will be glad to appologize to anyone I offend. I'm sure the Rome News Tribune will retract anything that is found to be unreliable. I got my information from them. I have a copy of the motion and can email it to you. Essentially: The foreperson pled guilty to a felony violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act, on August 23, 2002 in Floyd County, GA, and was sentenced under the first offender act, but did not successfully finish his sentence. On June 12, 2003 and June 17, 2003, he failed two random drug screens administered by the probation office. On July 8, 2003 his first offender status was revoked. There is an affidavit from the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles, stating that he has not had his civil rights restored…(not granted him a pardon or any other form of clemency of any type restoring him to the right to hold office, serve on a jury or receive, possess or transport in commerce a firearm) Signed by Thurman L. Henderson, Assistant Director of Clemency for the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles, notarized, and envelope copied addressed to the Georgia Capitol Defenders Office. Looked very official to me. I'm concerned because of a previous indictment that was quashed. Georgia law states that a person can be indicted only twice for the same crime. If Harper’s indictment had been quashed twice, which they now have because of a previous indictment being quashed, then the state would not be able to prosecute Harper if the justices throw out the indictment. |

same here, maggie.I seem to recall someone on here a while back stating that the people in charge will not use "unconventional" methods to find TP....seems that psychics are pretty "unconventional." I don't believe that trusting in the so-called "supernatural" is going to help in any way. Hey rome & TT: I always thought I'd make a pretty good psychic. lol. But I think that both of you have me beat. Perhaps you should get together and start a Dial-a-psychic business. |

Wilma2 - I wanted to let you know that there is new information about the grand jury motion. It appears the foreperson was convicted of a misdemeanor, not a felony, and was indeed eligible. Here's the story:District Attorney: Harper case juror eligible for service |

I truly hope that Walker County doesn't have the same problems that Floyd County has with its grand jury indictments. This is total incompetence on someone's part. Please go to the bottom and click and paste the web-address to read the whole story, then...Please, read the motion. This must be added to the medical books as another cause of "motion sickness". From the Rome News Tribune today: Harper case runs into grand jury problems - again 06/20/08 By John Bailey / RN-T staff writer Email this story to a friend If anyone thought the Richard Scott Harper death penalty case could not get more complicated – they would be wrong. Defense attorneys for Harper have filed a supplemental motion to dismiss the current indictment against Harper on the grounds that the foreperson of the of the grand jury that returned the indictment in the case is a convicted felon. According to the motion, Georgia law states that “any person who has been convicted of a felony and who has not been pardoned or had his or her rights restored” cannot serve on a grand jury. According to evidence presented in the motion: The foreperson of the jury pleaded guilty pleaded guilty to drug charges in 2002 under the first offender’s act and was sentenced to 12 months of probation. If he would have completed all of the requirements of the first offender’s act his rights to serve would have been restored. He later violated the first offender’s act when he failed two random drug screens while on probation and his first offender’s status was revoked. Hearings on motions in the case are scheduled to be heard on July 21 and 22. http://news.mywebpal.com/partners/680/public/news910484.html then click on: Click to view 'Supplemental motion regarding indictment in Harper case' |

Rome- I am skeptical of the psychic's vision as well- I decided to do an unscientific experimentto test the phenomenon for myself. I contacted a lesser known clairvoyant who claims to be able to describe a blog poster by concentrating on their screen name. I asked the psychic to describe romegasir. Check the report for accuracy and tell me what you think. Target: romegasir " I smell food... yes. Fried food is coming to mind. I see a balding gentleman- black rimmed glasses. more food. A sole patch that has grown long. Its getting clearer....... White hair and a mustache. Something about Kentucky...... A recipe of herbs and spices. the recipe must be secret? Ahhh. Chicken. The food is Chicken. Fried. In a secret recipe of herbs and spices. A beach. Sand. The balding gentleman is on a beach. Sand. Ahhh. Sanders! I now see romegasir clearly. It appears to be a colonel. Sanders. Standing at a deep fryer. Somewhere in Kentucky basting Chicken in a secret recipe of herbs and spices...." Could you affirm or deny the vision? I was impressed until the psychic could get no closer than Kentucky. Kentucky is a big place. Not specific enough for me, but then again, I didn't ask for specifics, just a vision. Is any of the vision accurate? Help me out here. TT |

TT, My point was not to prove the psychic wrong, but to show how this person, with connections to the after life, does no better at guessin what happened than your average bear................i.e. me...................the reason I used my speculations was to show the similarities between my speculations, made almost a year ago, to the psychic's made later (and after what I presume was an exhaustive search of the internet)..........................That's why my speculations are important....................because that's all a psychic does..............................use what he/she knows, and then come up with a scenario......................................the question is "what makes this person psychic?"It's always interesting to me how the "psychics" always can see the crime, the passion, Sam's dismay, heads hitting certain portions of walls, minds being changed during the body hiding process, others being involved, types of cars, 55 gallon drums...................................................but when asked "where?"..........................................it's always "ummmmmmmmm, near water or pine trees????" Anyone who questions the validity of the psychic is nothing more than an "unbeliever" who wouldn't believe if the psychic walked straight to the burial site...........problem is, the walking never happens...........................................I believe this notion of all of those who think the psychics are full of it are only unbelievers comes from an old Andy Griffith episode...............................................just so I give credit where it's due...................................................... |

ROME-you stated: "I believe that someone very close to the nurse, has confirmed that the nurse was sam's friend and they had nothing romantically...................................................I believe it has also been confirmed that there was nothing suspicious about the accident that killed her................................." The above statements are speculative, Right? You "believe" that some one close to the nurse told somebody else and you believe it has been confirmed. Does that mean the statement has most definitely been investigated and documented with sworn statement from multiple sources to verify it? Hum. The logic is contradictory. A psychic is by nature speculative. They have reason to think what they think, but they cant prove it or back it up. Then, you come in and discredit the psychic's speculation with speculation of your own. For a clear opposer of "nonsense", I would expect an argument based on more than your personal speculation. To apply one of your typical argument patterns, what if the psychic, instead of saying, "It came to me in a dream while I was tranced out over the OUJI board", was to say, "I believe it has been stated by a friend of so and so and I think it has been confirmed..." Would we then take the statement as TRUTH? TT ;) |

I can just picture the psychic getting angry when he/she sees that I predicted any psychic would say that TP is somewhere near pine trees and/or water....................................Notice how the psychic claims to have little to no computer knowledge (that way we all know he/she can't use google or search these chat boards, right? LOL)...................On this very board, Others and I have speculated that she was probably strangled due to the lack of physical evidence at the most likely crime scenes..................................I even speculated that the strangling was done mechanically with rope, cloth etc from behind which accounts for the lack of wounds on SP (although there were reports at one time of a couple of scratches, etc, but even those would have been much more if he had strangled her face to face).......................................................they psychic's story OF COURSE is possible, it's just not likely, why you ask??????? manual and mechanical strangulation are usually certain death once the victim blacks out or stops fighting..................the bones in the throat are usually broken.............it is unlikely that someone will black out, appear to be dead, and then pop back to life after the tarp/rug is unrolled............................................this ain't the movies I also notice how the tarp/rug (although there has been supposed statements in this case regarding that evidence and it has been discussed ON THIS BOARD) and the 55 gallon drums seem similar to recently published accounts of other cop vs. wife/girlfriend murders........................................Now, assuming that SP unrolls the tarp and finds she is alive and drowns her, why would the "dismay" of that cause him to choose a different burial location and technique????? that makes no sense........ And like most psychics, VERY detailed on the description of the murder, but it all gets hazy when you start talking about locating evidence NOW...........................................................wonder why? |

Just to let everyone now, since VWN decided to make something that was sent in confidence public - YES NWGAMOM is a moderator on the Theresa Parker board ( a very caring incividual - as we have spent hours upon hours chatting), YES everything and I mean EVERYTHING we receive there has been passed on the the family by way of friends and we have had several interesting conversations with the psychic that is mentioned, among others. And EVERYONE of the conversations we had do connect with one another and hit on certain locations - the information we have is available on the THERESA PARKER board, although if you have been to visit - there are certain areas that are passworded - these areas do hold critical information for the moderaters, myself, and those individuals that are helping with passing information on to the family - for the fact that this are caps of conversations that were held and frankly not for everyone to see, but for the sake of searching I hope that I am not sticking my foot in my mouth - I don't think that it would be a problem for the "public" that are truly wanting to search and truly in here for Theresa to know some locations that have been mentioned. With that being said, if anyone would like insight on the areas or possible hits from what we have learned through conversations please feel free to pm myself or NWGAMOM and I will relay to you some of the areas that were hit on or descriptions that you maybe able to provide more information on, although with RESPECT for the family and friends of Theresa I will only be giving information out with their approval and the sources will remain unknown - If someone in the area would be willing to look into some places please do let me know. As I have told before, yes when I am down that way I would be willing to go with someone to check places out but I refuse to go alone and I can't just come down there in the spare of the moment with it being quite a drive for me to get there and being a mom. But if you are wanting to look into some of the areas we have had mentioned to us please feel free to contact me. There are some places listed on the board that are thoughts relating to places that could/couldn't be etx, but please note that these are just places talked about between other members unless the "psychics" that we have chatted with posted their information there. For those that think Theresa will be forgotten or that the searching doesn't continue, you are mistaken. There isn't a day that I am not checking this blog, the board, or not allowing Theresa's name to come into my thoughts and prayers as I am sure that there are many like that. ShawnHS, we do appreciate your time and dedication to the work you have done. I can't speak for the family but some of the things that you were able to pull out confirmed some of the things that we had been told. VWN - a setup? The information you received isn't a set-up as you are referring to. this was information that we have been given and have not been able to check out as of yet. This information from my understanding was passed on to you because it was sincerely felt that you were active and wanting to help with checking places out that might bring Theresa home. Obviously, you had a good "persona" going with that because it was truly felt you were here wanting to help and not just sitting in front of a computer to criticize. As I just read here and rarely post if you would like to get in contact with me, here is the link to the board. http://theresaparker.proboards91.com/index.cgi |

When I was in Rescue, and we went out on a search, we always did a line search. That way, we had multiple pairs of eyes on the ground looking at the same time in case someone missed something so someone else could see a piece of evidence. If people were to go out and search, I'd suggest going out in groups and doing a line search. Line up in a straight line across the area you're going to search, that way you have a lot of eyes on the area you're searching. Maybe Rome or someone else familiar with the right way to search can suggest more ways to help you in your searches. I wouldn't wait for permission from anyone, i'd just get out and search. I'd go back over areas that have been searched. You might find something that someone has missed before. You never know. Teresa Watson's blog certainly is interesting to read. I've read it several times and always find it interesting. Good luck with the searches if you decide to get out and search. Since it's hot, don't forget your water! Also, find a good sturdy walking stick to take with you and some good walking shoes or boots. Make sure you let someone know where you are going and what time you expect to be back. |
