Armuchee Connector
Wednesday October 24, 2007 9:33:51am
The Armuchee Connector, part of the 2006 special purpose, local option sales tax package approved by voters almost a year ago, is aimed at relieving congestion on U.S. 27 between Armuchee and Turner McCall Boulevard. The road — which will be four-laned between U.S. 27 and Old Dalton Road — will start at Braves Boulevard at State Mutual Stadium across from the newly widened Riverside Parkway. It is slated to cross the Oostanaula River, Old Dalton Road and tie directly into U.S. 27 below Old School Road.

NOT ONLY DID HE WHO SPEAKS WITH FORK-TOUNGE, GET HIS NEW ROAD,AT LOCAL TAX-PAYERSEXPINCE,BUT IN THIS MORNING'S PAPER HE ALSO SAID HE WAS NOT GOING TO TOUCH THAT THING RE;THE RIVER WALK PROJECT? HE GOT UP AND LEFT THE ROOM.I HOPE MR. DOSS DOUBLE CROSS'ES THE LOCAL COMMISSIONERS, JUST LIKE HE DID THE TAX-PAYERS,INTO BULDING THIS NEW ROAD FOR HIM.I ALSO HOPE THAT IT TAKES AT LEAST AS LONG AS TO COMPLETE AS IT TOOK FOR THE WIDING OF RIVERSIDE PARKWAY, ABOUT 20 OR SO YEARS. |

I ask again as I asked in The Watercooler. How did Daviv Doss get to the position he is in and where did he come from? As each day goes, I would say more people are becoming a little more sceptical of his dealing as very self serving and shady. What did he do before he became DOT invloved? How did he get at the DOT? and what position does he hold there? Just asking so I can become more informed. Thanks |

AGAIN DAVID DOSS GETS WHAT HE WANTS OUT OF THE CITY AND COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, AND REALLY THE TAX-PAYERS,WITH EMPTY PROMICES REMEMBER THE LAST S.P.L.O.T. WITH WHICH PART OF THE MONEY FOR THIS ROAD WAS TO BE MATCHED WOTH D.O.T. MONEY?ACOUPLE OF DAYS AFTER THE S.P.L.O.T. PASSED HE WHO SPEAKS WITH FORKED-TOUNGE,ANNOUNCED THE STATE D.O.T. DID NOT HAVE THE MONEY HE PROMICED, TO HELP GET THE S.P.L.O.T. PASSED. I WONDER JUST HOW WE AS THE TAX-PAYERS, COULD GET MR. DOSS'ES POSITION ON THE D.O.T. BOARD, PUT ON THE BALLOT FOR THE NEXT ELECTION |
