Plunkett named interim superintendent for Floyd County Schools

Dr. Lynn Plunkett, deputy superintendent of teaching and learning for Floyd County Schools, has been named interim superintendent of the school system.
The Floyd County Board of Education named Plunkett during Wednesday's board meeting
Superintendent Kelly Henson announced last week he will step down in December to accept a job with the state Department of Education.
