well well well, Looks like Clearvision is really making the issue cloudy now. It's obvious that some people have more than one screen name on here just to fuel their own war. Who better to agree with your views than yourself. I can assure you I have but one on here myself. Now, if a person really wanted to rock the boat they would be out here trying to get people to vote. Not just for the candidates but simply vote. There are thousands of people in Walker that have opinions and feel like we need change. The problem is they won't vote. We don't need another buddy who is connected with everyone in office. We need fresh blood in gene pool, someone who can do the job the way it is supposed to be done. Now I didn't name anyone in particular so don't come back with "Debbie's right for the job". Just agree that low voter turn out is the problem and that we do need a change. |

You know something Closer, something just dawned on me. You just signed off with TheCloser under the CLEARVISION icon. I've been a wrestling fan for years, and it just dawned on me that either you're one in the same, or you two are tag-teaming me!!!!!!! That's dirty....... :) . Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.VWN |

TheCloser:For your information. Good luck............. Georgia Code of Ethics for Government Service http://sos.georgia.gov/elections/georgia%20code%20of%20ethics.htm In a nutshell............ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Georgia Code of Ethics for Government Service The O.C.G.A. § 45-10-2 authorizes the Secretary of State to publish the Code of Ethics For Government Service established in section 45-10-1 (Ga. L. 1968, p. 1369.) for exhibiting to the public and employees of the state and all governments therein. Any person in government service should: I. Put loyalty to the highest moral principles and to country above loyalty to persons, party, or government department. II. Uphold the Constitution, laws, and legal regulations of the United States and the State of Georgia and of all governments therein and never be a party to their evasion. III. Give a full day's labor for a full day's pay and give to the performance of his duties his earnest effort and best thought. IV. Seek to find and employ more efficient and economical ways of getting tasks accomplished. V. Never discriminate unfairly by the dispensing of special favors or privileges to anyone, whether for remuneration or not, and never accept, for himself or his family, favors or benefits under circumstances which might be construed by reasonable persons as influencing the performance of his governmental duties. VI. Make no private promises of any kind binding upon the duties of office, since a government employee has no private word which can be binding on public duty. VII. Engage in no business with the government, either directly or indirectly, which is inconsistent with the conscientious performance of his governmental duties. VIII. Never use any information coming to him confidentially in the performance of governmental duties as a means for making private profit. IX. Expose corruption wherever discovered. X. Uphold these principles, ever conscious that public office is a public trust. For faster service, just go ahead and file a formal complaint with the Georgia Ethics Committee. VWN |

TheCloser.........Thanks for your honesty. With your having first-hand knowledge of an ethics violation, I would strongly suggest you go to Ms. Barbara Berry. She is very knowledgeable about the election process and can definitely steer you in the right direction to file a formal complaint against an elected official. Don't be concerned with only being one person. The process has to start someplace, and often one is all it takes. They will be forced to investigate any complaint as an ethics violation doesn't stop at the local courthouse. It will go to the elections commission. As I stated earlier, I've had no problem with Bill. He has always been nice to me and very helpful. If he is involved in an ethics violation however, that will set a fire under me like nothing else will. We put these people in office because we trust them. Violate that trust, and you've got nothing left. I would also suggest to any of his employees who feel as though they've been treated unfairly that they consider unlawful harassment complaints with the labor board. These complaints are taken very seriously and investigated thoroughly. Hope this helps. VWN |

VocalWhenNecessary. Thanks for your comments. I do have first hand information. I witnessed an incident with "MY OWN EYES" and Mr. McDaniel and his assistant (or whatever) was oblivuous as to my presence. But I am only one person. Who are the "right" people to contact? I'm willing to do whatever it takes. The Closer |
