LAST NIGHT ON UCTV LYNN LONG WAS ON FOR ONE OF HIS TIMES ON NIGHT TALK. HE GAVE THE VOTING PUBLIC SOME WRONG INFORMATION. HE SAID THAT KEITH GREEN WAS FOR BRINGING AN ASPHALT PLANT TO CATOOSA COUNTY. NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH. IN DEBATES AND THE TIMES HE HAS BEEN ON UCTV, HE HAS SAID THAT HE IS ONLY INTERESTED IN CLEAN INDUSTRIES. AN ASPHALT PLANT DOES NOT FIT THAT CATEGORY. PLEASE TAKE IT AS DESPERATE WORDS FROM A DESPERATE CANDIDATE |

Age should not matter if that person knows what is going on. Melvin Edwards has experience in all areas of education. He was a techer, a principal, and now a school board member. I like people with experience. A new person may come in with some radical ideas that would ruin our wonderful school system. My thought pattern is if it isn't broke don't fix it. Experience means a lot to me and many other people |

Tom Weldon has been missing in action for a long time..He will not appear on UCTV because he does not know the answers to the questions that Judy or her listening audience asks. HE wants to go to Atlanta to adjudecate for us. I want someone who will work for us. He has not knocked on the first door. He did attend one debate and his answers were terrible. He has had to lend his campaign a large sum of money. Please vote for Ralph Noble. He is well educated and knows his way around the capital. We have been without representation since Ken Poston was in Atlanta. Please cross party lines and vote for the best person for the job. |

GREG, ARE YOU TELLING ME AND ALL THE OTHER BLOGGERS THAT YOU WOULD VOTE DEMOCRATIC NO MATTER WHAT TYPE OF PERSON,QUALIFIED OR NOT,PUT THEIR NAME ON THE BALLOT? THAT IS CRAZY. I WANT THE BEST QUALIFIED PERSON FOR THE JOB. I ALSO WANT SOMEONE WHO WILL WORK FOR ALL THE PEOPLE NOT JUST ONE PARTY.I KNOW IT WOULD GIVE YOU GREAT PLEASURE FOR ME NOT TO SHOW UP AT ANOTHER DEMOCRATIC PARTY MEETING,BUT THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE ME STAY HOME. SORRY TO BORE THE REST OF THE BLOGGERS WITH MINE AND GREG'S SPAT |

VOTERB, AS TO USING CAPITAL LETTERS I GUESS YOU COULD CALL ME LAZY. I HATE TO HIT THE CAP LOCK TO CHANGE TO LOWER CASE. ALSO PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR NOT SPELLING OUT THE GROUP OF TEACHERS THAT ELECTED RALPH. WHEN I WAS A TEACHER SOME THIRTY FOUR YEARS AGO THAT WAS THE ONLY TEACHERS ORIGANIZATION. I STILL FEEL RALPH IS THE BEST CHOICE. HE IS THE ONLY CANDIDATE FOR STATE HOUSE WHO IS KNOCKING ON DOORS. HE IS ALSO THE ONLY CANDIDATE WHO HAS NOT LOANED HIS CAMPAIGN MONEY AND HE IS THE ONLY CANDIDATE WHO IS WILLING TO DEBATE. WHAT IS TOM WELBORN AFRAID OF? |

GAVOTER, IS GREG BENTLEY YOUR OTHER BLOG NAME? I AM INDEED A DEMOCRAT, BUT I ALSO LOOK AT EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND WHAT THAT INDIVIDUAL HAS DONE WHILE HE OR SHE HAS BEEN IN OFFICE. LIKE I SAID BRUCE IS A NICE MAN, BUT NOT FOR THIS JOB.LOCALLY I VOTE FOR THE PERSON THAT I THINK THAT WILL DO THE BEST JOB. SOMETIMES IT IS A DEMOCRAT AND SOMETIMES IT IS A REPUBLICAN. AS AN AMERICAN I HAVE THE PRIVLEGE OF DOING THAT WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION. I WON'T TELL YOU WHO YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR IF YOU WON'T TELL ME |

ringgolddoneRALPH NOBLE WILL WORK FOR ALL THE PEOPLE. I AM SURE THAT YOU DID NOT SEE HIM LAST NIGHT ON THE LOCAL ACCESS CHANNEL. HE COVERED MANY AREAS OF CONCERN. PEOPLE CALLED IN AND HE WAS ABLE TO ANSWER THEIRQUESTIONS.. I HAVE NOT SEEN TOM OFFER HIMSELF TO ANSWER THE HARD QUESTIONS THAT THE VOTERS ARE ASKING. AGAIN YOU CANDIDATE IS IN WAY OVER HIS HEAD |

HIS OPPONENT IS A LAWYER EDUCATED IN SAINT MARTINS. HE WANTS TO GO TO THE STATE HOUSE AND JUDICATE FOR US. I'VE LOOKED THAT UP IN MY DICTIONARY AND CAN'T FIND A MEANING FOR T HAT WORD. TOM IS A NICE GUY BUT HE WOULD BE IN WAY OVER HIS HEAD.I LIKE JEFF MULLIS FOR THE SENATE. HE HAS DONE A LOT FOR THIS AREA AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO. BRUCE IS A NICE GUY ALSO BUT HE HAS NO EXPERIENCE IN BRINGING THINGS TO NORTH GEORGIA |

I disagree with you. These men, some of them for over forty five years, have worked for you for nothing. Anything that chief Gass made he spent it on the firemen. The new Chief is drawing a salary that I heard was about $65,000 a year. Also the paid fireman will also be paid from your tax dollars In todays economy being the way it is, can the county afford it without raising our taxes. These men had no problem with turning in an application or taking a drug test. When the county ask that each one of them be interviewed, like the county didn't already know them and their work habits, that was the final straw. I thank them for their service and pray that the commission will think again
