This is something to think about: $3,900 per month is being paid out of taxpayers dollars to send employees to workout. In passing conversation with SEVERAL of these employees, it has been stated that either they are satisfied with there current center or they have no intention of working out in a fascility because they a)don't have time b) are not interested or c)they work out at home. Consider the number of employees that will actually be using this program 90 days from now. These reasons alone support the fact that this wellness program was not thought out. Now the price of $9.75 per person rises as employees admit they will not use the offer, lose interest in the program, and/or decide they want to make their own decisions as to where they spend their time. How much will each membership actually be costing the taxpayers in, lets say, February 2009? Does anybody really think 400 people will (100%) be taking advantage of this offer? Bebe's idea was an honorable one, yet the flaws of such plan are obvious.
