I agree with cck36. We'll never see it if she's found innocent. It's not sensational when someone is found innocent and most media outlets nowadays are all about sensationalism.I hope she is a member of the Georgia Association of Educators. She should immediately call them and secure legal representation. I'm not 100% sure but I believe it was illegal for the system to fire her without her having gone to trial and been found guilty. |

The Chattanooga newspaper story said that they were moving this particular manufacturing job to China. More outsourcing ruining our jobs here! That's a greedy big corporation for you & has nothing to do with the local government or leadership. |

Charge the doctor or the pharmacist? What an incredibly stupid comment! The medicine was prescribed for a cancer patient who experiences incredible pain! He was obviously taking the medicine as instructed (since he's still alive!). And why have you not implicated the PARENTS in this? Are parents supposed to relinquish all responsibility to the schools and to law enforcement? I think not! This was a moral (or rather, immoral) decision this boy made (the one who distributed the pills). The moral upbringing of children is the parents' responsibility NOT the school's! |

If you hear your teens talking about going to a "farm" party, you need to realize they are saying "PHARM" (short for "pharmaceutical") party. They put a huge concoction of stolen prescription drugs (from medicine cabinets at home or grandparents) into a big bowl (sometimes mixed with Skittles and called a Skittles party). Each teen takes turns dipping into the bowl and grabbing a handful. They then have to take what they got out of the bowl. If you hear anything about one of these parties, please notify the police. It might save some lives. |

Please correct me if I am wrong: wasn't Peppers ELECTED a judge? (I honestly don't remember.)I know that at every election, I always vote for the person who does NOT have "Incumbent" listed by his/her name. I'm sick & tired of things like this happening. If he was not elected, then we certainly need to start complaining to whoever appointed him. Maybe THAT person was elected & can be made to fear the next time his/her name is on a ballot. |

I'm so very sorry for the loss of this child's life. |

Leave us alone about the interstate connector. Leave Walker County just as it is. There's way too much "development" already & we certainly don't need or want any more!
I've already decided NOT to vote for Bebe in November exactly because of stuff like this. She wants to "develop" us right out of our beautiful green space. Forget it!
