It's no different rhetoric than the liberals scaring the elderly by saying that the big rich Republicans are going to take away your Social Security.

No one can fix this economy. All it takes is Americans having more of our money to save, invest, and spend. That is what John Kennedy believed - lower taxes. We do not need a death tax. We do not need taxes on investments. We do not need taxes on businesses - we pay them anyway through the cost of goods and services.

And as John Kennedy said, we need to do more for our country and have the country do less for us. That includes getting back to doing more for each other. Churches and other faith based organizations are better equipped to meet the needs of the less fortunate than our government in Washington.

If you are concerned about the economy, then regardless of your religious beliefs, you should be concerned about 40 million people who have been eliminated from our workforce over the last 25 years. People who could have contributed to this economy, created new jobs, and helped to support Social Security.

We don't need government sponsored healthcare. If we can require hospitals to treat patients regardless of their ability to pay, we can do the same for doctors. It would be similar to a court-appointed attorney. Everyone takes a turn.

As far as the war is concerned, we will get out when the United Nations says we can. All the promises and plans don't mean a thing.

And which do you want, a team comprised of agents of change, or team of the Washington status quo and a community organizer?

"I have learned enough about this to now understand why we are seeing so many of this movement showing up in the Baptist churches."

I've seen variations of Hyperdispensationalism in a few churches. It is usually connected with those who believe the King James Version is the only acceptable Bible. Odd though that Dr. Peter Ruckman (thinks the KJV corrected any errors in the original manuscripts) is a strong opponent of the HD view.

I had one man who espoused this view tell me that "whatever you believe you receive". In other words, if you think the rapture happens after the tribulation, you will stay through the tribulation even though you are saved.

The real danger of this belief is shown by one pastor I know of who bought into the thought that works are not an evidence of salvation. He thought he knew more than anyone else and was more spiritual than anyone else. He was convicted of molesting children in his church and is now in prison.

I have no problem with the fact that we are positionally perfected in Christ. But that has absolutely nothing to do with our practice, except that it stands before us as a goal to pursue. We, as Paul, do that which we do not want to do and do not do that which we should. We all should press on toward the goal of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

To provide the abortion option (regardless of the method used) is to stop the result God intended.

The message we are spreading is that you can do whatever you wish and eliminate the consequences.

We need to go back to the message that worked quite well before Roe v Wade: think before you act.

I didn't know Mrs. Palin believed that - but she is right. Saddam had to be removed so a democratic capitalistic society could be established and Babylon be restored to world prominence. And since there is approx $17 trillion of oil under Iraq, that should be no problem.

If you have noticed, in the last 2 wars in that region, Babylon has been untouched. That is because it is up to God to destroy Babylon.

Also. pay attention to Russia. It is no accident that Putin wants to reunite the Soviet Union (starting with Georgia). That will be successful as well.

Just watch the news and see it unfold.

Neither the man nor the woman have the right to end a pregnancy at any point. Both the egg and sperm came from God. Creating life is His process and all the rights that come with that are His alone.

If they don't want to raise the child, give it up for adoption. There are thousands of childless couples who would love to give a child a good home.

To avoid the problem, I put the responsibility on the man. We are humans. We are not animals nor did we descend or evolve from animals (despite the lies taught in our public schools). Men may have urges, but they also have a will with which they can resist the urges and a mind with which they can consider the consequences.

Men also have a guaranteed protection against unwanted pregnancy. It is called a zipper. As long as it is engaged to do its job, there will be no problem. In the event that the man will not use his protection, the woman has the next best thing. It is called a knee, and appropriately placed is a guaranteed showstopper.

Then why did God instruct Israel to kill every man, woman, and child of pagan nations and destroy all their possessions? God used Israel to judge them for their rebellion. If they has obeyed fully, we wouldn't have the middle east conflict we now have.

"There are no exceptions. It is God's place to determine when you die. Not yourself or anyone else" So you think Roe v Wade should be reversed?

Jesus did not abolish the Law
Matthew 5:17-20
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven."

Romans 13 - government to punish evildoers; see Genesis 9 and Deut 19 for punishment of murderers.

God, by being Creator and Sovereign of His creation, has the right to place limits on our behavior. He can send a nation into battle and that is not murder. He can authorize the government to execute a murderer and that is not murder. But abortion or ending someone's life through premeditation is murder.

And since we are not the Creator we do not have the right to make that choice.

Problem is it is not HER, or anyone else's right. Only God has the right to begin and end life. He gives the right to government to excute criminals and protect and defend its citizens. God has not given and will not give people the right to decide who lives and dies based on convenience or quality of life.

We are suffering the consequences of 40 million murders.

When the country remembers correctly, it will be that the Congress did not want the government to restrict the free exercise of religion. There was never any desire that religion have no influence in government. In fact, many expressed their dependence upon God for wisdom in leading the country.

And there is no leader alive that can govern wisely without His help.
