it is always nice to have a little humor in your day, but is that all you guys do any more?whatever happened to having a nice deep discussion about something in your life, such as poison pet food, politics,or the price of eggs in China? How about I throw out an old but yet unsolved problem that seems to have been put out in left field...an innocent young man is still sitting in prison, for being in the path of another driver that caused thier accident...hum,does that bring anyone to mind...look on www.mattfairtrial.com...matt could very well be any one of us BUT FOR THE GRACE OF GOD! We still need to show our support,we need to find out how it is that this young man was tarred and feathered and found guilty even before he went to court...inFloyd Co. in the great state of Georgia where as in all the other states in this great country you are suppose to be INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY. How is it that the facts and the eyewitnesses were disregarded and WHY...this is the kind of injustice that we better get a handle on before we all end up in prison, locked away from life and loved ones for NOTHING...any thoughts, anyone. |

greetings all-been so busy lately there was no time to spend writing. after reading comments on immigration I felt the need, how crazy is it when you call a company right here in U.S.A. only to be told first thing to press a certain number if you want to hear english-how stupid and backwards is that!Last year a nurse at the local hospital told me the same immagrate woman had SIX babies in one year-at least her information was used all six times! How do they get away with that-Iguess the same way they get FREE housing, food, medical and anything else that they want.Yes, my family came over from Scotland and Ireland many moons ago,but they did so legally and pay thier taxes and earn thier way.Yet last year when I got very sick and had to stay over a month in hospital the system would not help until everylittle detail of my life and illness was explained to them-over and over.In fact one week they would send me a letter approving it then the next week a letter of denial-go figure that out. after over a year they finally helped, but in that year Iwas not able to work, but for the grace of God and family and friends...well who knows where I would be.Thanks guys for the jokes and the lighter side and Grandmas hands we all need a little bit to smile about thru the bad,sad and injustice of this world. How long has it been since you picked up your Bible and read Psalms 23,or any of the Psalms they are a true promise and smile for yourface and your soul...try it sometime. As I tryed to go back and read to catch up on this blog I have one nagging question...Did Matt ever get a fair trial?LastI read about this he was still being punished for a wreck that was not his fault, that could have been me or you...does'nt justice need to be done for this young man,we all need to pray for him,his family and also for the ones that perpitrated this horrible injustice. One last comment, saw a large coyote cross the road in the middle of the day last week, he just stopped and watched me,even after I got out of my car and called to him.The vet told me years ago when coyotes nearly killed my big dog that if a small child gets hurt and screams outside if coyotes are anywhere close by they will come in for the kill because it sounds like any other small injured animal, so watch out for those little-ones and ya'll take care. |

Are you ever gonna pay attention or are you gonna keep spouting that crap about 'clearing the intersection'. She whipped over into the turn-lane at the last second and turned so fast and sharp that 4 witnesses said it looked like she might roll over. And she kept right on 'blowing thru',she did not yield,or slow,or stop AND she did not have the right to clear the intersection cause she WAS NOT on Burlington going thru she was TURNING LEFT IN FRONT OF ON-COMING TRAFFIC!!!The sad truth is that because she was in a hurry she made a horrible and near fatal mistake. But does laying the blame on someone else make that any less the truth...NO that just adds a horrible twist to it.The thing that needs to be remembered it could have been anyone in her path, she did not know because she did not take the time to try to see around the loaded log truck or the trees in the median. That is why we should always take time to make sure 100% of the time that our path is clear, if we all just drove in front of each other cause we are in a hurry...well we would all be in a mess.(just in case ...that one was for the dawg) B1222 Hope I helped you understand about the clearing of the intersection,if not read on...IMA spoke about the wreck this week near Atlanta where 3 young korean men died in a horrible and tragic way when they turned in front of on-coming traffic. The driver of the truck that they turned in front of was not cited nor given a ticket, yet the young man that was driving was ticketed because he did not yield...and he did die as a result of his mistake. That is so sad that 3 young men died as a result of a mistake that one of them made, but at least the charges were placed on the person responsible and not laid on the poor man that thy turned in front of...yet again that could have been any one of us!!!Furthermore R.N.T. prints just what they want to, if they do not like you or the subject matter out it goes.In fact I was told if they do not want to print something they do not have to...and do not tell me that for enough money they will print anything, cause I asked them and they will not!!Of course if another paper or news source picks it up and tells it they would love to. |

Most people sitting in jail/prison are there because of the strict rules of probation that are almost impossible to follow. Not everyone, but most...and it made me wonder why can't they wear an ankle cuff and stay at home and work if they are not a danger to others. So I asked a probation officer right here in Floyd Co., he said it is because the co. can not afford for everyone to wear one and if everyone can't then no-one can.Well I know of one teenage girl that wore one for over a year, and her family did not pay for it.In fact someone else I know offered to pay for his own cuff and was told NO. That is a bunch of HOG WALLER cause that means the co.(I mean us tax payers)are paying to house and feed people that could be out working. Of course if they do'nt want to work then may-be that is where they need to be.But a lot of these people are put back because they moved or had to work late and did not get to report on time,I know a lady that lost her job because it was go to work or to report and if she did not report she would lose her job, home, children and freedom.I bet keeping one person in jail costs a lot more than the ankle monitor or a little easier rules about reporting for probation.AND YES dog I do know there are people that need to be in jail...but Matt Dunagan IS NOT one!!!I have missed a lot of talk here of late...I must have been in hibernation...but I am back. |

WOW-What do I think about the spraying of herbicides on the roadways...I ACTUALLY AGREE with a comment that was posted by the dawg,of course what ever was said last nite must have been a doosey to get it shut down. The comments you've made about the spraying made sense,I remember when we were kids and they used to come around in the evenings and spray for bugs with that kinda stuff. We had to all go in the house for at least an hour or get very sick. That stuff they spray on weeds can not be any better for our enviroment or our health, and wildflowers would be a welcome addition to the beauty of our mountains, valleys and streams. Now was'nt that easy...we can agree on one thing, now if we could see about the problem that we can not agree on,I am going to assume we are both adults so why is it you still made childish remarks yesterday that we filled with lies and pure hate.I personally would not want to live with that much hate in my soul that is why I am a firm believer in forgiveness, of course I still have not personally read your last barb last nite, and I'm pretty sure it was a barb most are. |

Are we just suppose to discuss little topics that do not matter and be good little boys and girls,do not talk about anything that is not agreeable to everyone, then what kind of forum is that...A VERY BORING,STUPID AND ONE SIDED!!! |

Just today as we were going thru Armuchee we saw 6 state patrol cars at one restuarant, and 8 at another, all at the same time. What is that all about ? seems to me they need to space thier lunch so someone is on the clock! |
