"Why are you so interested in trying to shut me up?"Because you and evanbubbafoster are the clowns of this forum. You have nothing to add, and everything is under a dark cloud of suspicion; In your own mind. Your entire working knowledge of law enforcement comes from TV and movies. Which qualifies you about as much as operating on somebody after watching E.R. Due process, investigations, and even how the grand jury works is a mystery to you. People much smarter and more degreed than you, thought this case has enough p.c. to go to trial. If you don't like the system, fine. However, I can assure you, once again (!!), there is no conspiracy, and if, in fact, once one of our own did the unthinkable, he'll be put away for a long, long time. |

Like I've mentioned God knows how many times....... When the case has reached a conclusion, you can file a FOI and see THE ENTIRE CASE FILE.The public has no right to information in an ongoing investigation. Sorry, that's just the way it is. However, the public has every right, AFTER the case has gone through due process. There is no.. * men in the shadows * back room deals * rulers The POI is in jail. Seems the case was good enough to issue a warrant. Yes, court can sometimes take years, but that's just how the system works. Most people that post here seemed outraged that the POI was free. Now that it been a few months, and the POI is not on death row, everybody is claiming CORRUPTION!! This is just how our system works. We get ONE shot. Hopefully, we'll do it right when the time comes. In the mean time........ you'll excuse me. I'm looking for a double homicide killer still AT LARGE. |

Not to rain on anybody's parade, but I mean really; Have you ever, ever heard of reverse speech being brought up, used, or entered as evidence in any trial ever?Even if it was brought up in open court, the defense would object so hard the whole issue would be over with in a few seconds. Listen to the reverse speech, without the subtitles. What do you really hear? Look around the internet, try youtube.com, and do the same. Reverse speech is like looking at a cloud. Look hard enough, and you'll see almost anything; Listen hard and you'll hear anything. The reason? No scientific credibility. Things like DUI blood tests, GBI drug ID centers, evidence from motor vehicle wrecks, and DNA analysis required a lot of schooling, and long, long lists of protocol. Getting up in court and running a tape backward, and then saying, "Here's what he's saying; Look for the hidden meaning" borders on laughable. Interesting, yes. Admissable in court, no. Keep that stuff on Late Night with Art Bell. Again, not ripping anybody; Your (and everybody elses) enthusiasm is appreciated. |

GSP is called in situations like this all the time. When you have an vehicle accident and the same driver is stopped for DUI, you want just one officer working the whole scene. Since he refused the field tests, GSP officers can better articulate in court a DUI arrest. Also most PD's and SD's offices have maybe about half of their staff that can run the state breath test. All GSP officers are certified to run it. This means when the case comes to court, they are the state's only witness; Making it an easier case to prosecute. |

The question is moot. The real question is how do you find the accused quilty? Which we will see, in probably a year or so. |

What 4th and 5th hand information do you possess that could spring this man? Please tell us. From someone that knows next to nothing about the criminal justice system, is critical of every angle and aspect, and whose entire working knowledge of law enforcement comes from buddy cop movies, please, enlighten us. If you want to add something constructive, than please do. If you have a question, then ask. Otherwise you’re embarrassing yourself. You know next to nothing about this murder case, yet you’re ready to fling open the prison doors. Stop being a forum troll. This forum is about the Parker case. |

Although I'm not familiar with the Jose Medina case, I can assure you no case is ever "swept under the rug". Anyone can file a FOI and get the entire case file. From the first incident report, to the signed conviction; These reports are available to anyone, anytime, anywhere. The only thing missing will be juvenile names and the officers own private notes. How far do they go back?.... Well I remember a few years ago I found an old court docket that had, swear to god, "horse thieving" on the calendar. When the Parker case is over, anyone, yes ANYONE, will be able to read the entire case file from start to finish. As Rome and I have told you over, and over, and over, it's all in the public domain. You can believe forum trolls like evanbubbafoster, or you can go down to the court house and read it for yourself. |

But here is something for you to chew on.... The warrant. All warrants start out "On ____(date), between the times of ____ and ____" and then onto the actually charge.
I'm really curious to know how Sam's warrant reads. What date did they put in the blank, and how did they nail it down?
I guess we'll find out when the trail starts, but it may be a long, long time. That's just the way the system works.
