I heard from a friend that they have a lot of evidence against Sam that they are not releasing to the public. It's been said in confidence that they have enough to convict him without a body. That's a pretty bold statement and they sounded pretty confident that they could get a conviction. Let's just pray that they can. Hope all of you are well and staying cool in this heat that seems to be everywhere.

I'm still here also, just checking in to see if anything new had came up about Theresa. Even though I don't always leave a comment, i check in to see if there is any news yet about her being found or about sam's impending trial. What do yall think is the hold up? Is the DA from Rome waiting to see if she is re-elected before going on with the trial? Who knows what is going on and taking so long. Looks like to me if Sam was innocent like he says, then he would be screaming his head off wanting a bond hearing.

Oh well. Happy Fourth (belated) everyone and hope everyone is doing o.k. We're fine down here in our part of the world, just trying to stay cool in this heatwave we're having. Great fireworks in Rome last night! Did anyone else in that part of the world happen to see them? Good night everyone! Take care!

When I was in Rescue, and we went out on a search, we always did a line search. That way, we had multiple pairs of eyes on the ground looking at the same time in case someone missed something so someone else could see a piece of evidence. If people were to go out and search, I'd suggest going out in groups and doing a line search. Line up in a straight line across the area you're going to search, that way you have a lot of eyes on the area you're searching. Maybe Rome or someone else familiar with the right way to search can suggest more ways to help you in your searches. I wouldn't wait for permission from anyone, i'd just get out and search. I'd go back over areas that have been searched. You might find something that someone has missed before. You never know. Teresa Watson's blog certainly is interesting to read. I've read it several times and always find it interesting. Good luck with the searches if you decide to get out and search. Since it's hot, don't forget your water! Also, find a good sturdy walking stick to take with you and some good walking shoes or boots. Make sure you let someone know where you are going and what time you expect to be back.

How far is Cane Creek from their house? Wondering if they brought the guy in for questioning who found the cell phone? I heard they had pretty good evidende against Sam, but that's just hearsay. You know how people talk. Anyways, good day all. Just trying to rest before going back to church. Praying for both families and all affected in this situation.

Hello Check, Ga Gal, Vocal and everyone else. I was just trying to catch up on my reading and see if anything new had been brought to light. Maybe Theresa will be found soon. I know if it was my daughter or sister, I couldn't rest until she was brought home. Have a great day everyone and yes Shawn's speech reversals are interesting. I was doubtful at first also, but it started making sense to me. He's really done a good job.

VWN....Just being curious, you've said you've known Sam over 20 years. Do you mind sharing how well you've know him? Are you a close family friend or family of Sam? Just wondering. You don't have too answer if you don't want to. You seem to get defensive when someone is bashing Sam. How do you have access to the interview? Thanks for your time. Shawn...not the first time i've been told to be careful. I don't know how to keep my mouth shut or so i've been told by quite a few..LOL..guess that's my nature. my friends tell me all the time to be quiet, but i guess my mouth will get me in trouble ones of these days, but it hasn't so far. This speech reversal thing sounds interesting. I"m all the time watching CSI,now i know that doesnt qualify me for being the next big time crime scence investigator but i have had training in search and rescue and things like that, and i have thought about going back to school for csi. my husband is kin to a investigator in the county where we live and i've thought about talking to him. anyways, enough about that. curious about what else you may have found out in his interview or have you come up with anything else on anymore of his interviews? let me know!

Vocal...what do you mean be careful? I was just asking questions about what his qualifications was and how he become involved in the case. I know some of the things the prosecution has but I can't say how I know and what i know. I was more curious about this speech reversal thing more than anything. Thanks for answering my questions ShawnHs. I hope that whomever is guilty for Theresa's disappearance, Sam or whomever, is brought to justice for Theresa's sake and her family's sake. I hope that the police have done their jobs well which i'm sure they have.

ShawnHs...what are your qualifications and how did you get put on this case? Did an investigator or the sherieff contact you personally and tell you to do a speech reversal on Sam's interview with fox 5? Just curious about how you came to be on this case? What about doing speech reversals on everyone else involved in the case like family members, etc. like TMagik said? I would look at all of the interviews, not just one specific person who we think might be involved. Why haven't you looked at any more interviews, only Sam's specifically? I would appreciate any answers that you might can give. Why are you now just coming on the scene? How long did it take you to come up with Sam's guilty confesstion from his interview? How does this speech reversal thing work?

IrishRed...the name of the guy on CSI is Gill Grissom. I watch it a lot. Don't know if it's significant or not. I don't know what to think about this whole speech reversal thing. Sounds like if law enforcement was interested in it, they would have contacted this person about all these clues this Shawn guy has supposedly uncovered in Sam's interview with Fox 5. Good day all.
