Disappearance of Theresa Parker, 911 dispatcher in Walker County
04/08/2007 03:40:19 PM
The original Corinth Church was torn down quite some time ago and they have been holding their services in the Fellowship Hall up on the hill. Now they are in the process of building a new church. Also, the pastoritum, or house that is provided for their pastor, has been sitting empty for quite sometime. Ms. Dunlap that use to live in the house right above the pastorium has also been empty for a long time as she passed away, so there are 2 empty houses sitting there together...just a thought. I wonder if anyone has access to the houses and if they have been looked at. That thought crossed my mind last week. |

Been a few days since I last read this blog. As each day passes, my mind is consumed more and more with the actual issue that Theresa needs to be found. I do not know her or any of her family personally, but my heart goes out...I know they want anwers. As a resident of the Corinth Community, I am sooo saddened with something like this happening just a couple of roads from my home... everytime I walk out on my porch now and look across the horizon, I can't help but feel an ache in my chest for Theresa Parker...where is she...what could have possibly happened just over the horizon that a lady in my community has had to endure??? In a once peaceful place where I never felt danger there is a lady missing now for over two weeks! There was a time when it really wasn't a BIG concern if my doors unmistakeingly went unlocked overnight, but now I find that I keep them locked at all times, and oh yeah...making sure my weapons are all in order just in case I need to use them...yes, I am so very sad and crushed that a lady has just vanished off the face of the earth in our pretty, peaceful community. As I sat and listened to the cold wind whistling last night and watching the sunset over those few hills that separate my home from hers, I found myself crying for a lady I'd never met. Our focus needs to continue to be to find Theresa. All the rest will work itself out as to cause, but please folks...Let's pray and find Theresa. I think the Sheriff's Dept is doing all they can along with Mr. Freeman. I'm sure they are as shocked and bewildered as I am as to where this lady has disappeared. The answer is out there, and they WILL find it. This community will continue to work together and continue to look. I do everytime I get out. I wouldn't even begin to KNOW what to say to Ms. Parker's family or feel their pain as having a family member just disappear, but I am sharing your pain of having a lady in my community just disappear. We need answers. |

First of all, my prayers are with the family and friends of Theresa. As a resident of the Corinth Community, I am concerned that a neighbor has come up missing...does this mean there is a predator in our community abducting women??? If so, why isn't our wonderful Sheriff's Department as concerned about this? Also with the history of this Sam Parker's domestic violence, why has he always gotten away with it? Part of the "good ole boy club" as posted here before I guess !!! I cannot believe this Sam Parker has not been suspended from the police force while this investigation is ongoing. I think the people of Walker County should DEMAND that he be suspended. It is stated that Sam Parker went on a fishing trip thursday....the officials need to check the place he went fishing....sounds almost like the Scott Peterson case...??? I still don't understand how Sam Parker has been able to continue to work as a police officer after the incidences of domestic violence...SHAME SHAME on the Walker County Sheriff's Dept. I think that now all the other agencies are here...i.e. GBI, etc. maybe they will do an indept investigation on our sheriff's department and find out about the "good ole boy club" that exists and I hope they bust it wide open!!! The sheriff's dept has messed up many times, example...Marsh case...sent deputies out long before to the Marsh residence and didn't find ANYTHING among all those bodies that raised their suspicions....HELLO???? People of Walker County, maybe this will teach you to get out and vote next time and get this Sheriff and all his goonies out of office! If there IS a predator stalking this community, we need to know in order to protect ourselves and most of all...OUR CHILDREN!!!!! |
