could you give us a link to that site, please?

VWN,

You said "They're letting him sit in jail, hoping the stress level will rise and he will crack." You also indicated that you don't think they have anything on Sam.

I have one question...if SAM knows he is innocent (is that possible?) or, even if he knows he is guilty but he doesn't believe they have any evidence against him, WHY isn't he screaming about his right to a speedy trial?
From all the things I have heard about Sam, I just can't imagine him sitting quietly in jail just for the personal amusement of watching a bunch of folks running in circles...but of course, I could be wrong.

I am also sorry to know that this happened. I have spoken to one of the site moderators after it had been taken care. I doubt that Al is even aware of it at this moment, but the problem has been removed.

Selah, I agree that it is shocking that someone would do this on a site meant as a source for conversation about Theresa. I have seen cruel things done by people before, and this ranks up there with the crueler ones.

Thanks for your concern.

A year later, and it seems as if there has been such a small amount of progress toward bringing Theresa home to her family. If you didn't see the interview channel 9 did with Theresa's niece, here is the link:

Please continue to pray and search.

Reflections of Theresa

March 21, 2008

For me, 53 weeks ago, Theresa Parker was JUST Richard’s sister. My husband saw her differently though. Bill and Richard have been best friends for years. Long before Bill and I met, that entire family took my Bill in as one of their own.

Fifty-two weeks ago, one year ago today, I started getting to know Theresa Parker. I had met Theresa a few times (usually with at least one of her two sisters attached at the hip!) I wish I could have had the opportunity of getting to know her better. It was obvious that she and her sisters cared deeply for Bill, and I thought that was wonderful. There is a lot of love in that family.

I never got to know Theresa’s dad, but in the past year I feel as if a gentle bond has formed between her mother and me. Claire seems to look on my husband as another son, and I have grown to love her (and worry about her just as I would for his mom in the same situation.) I can’t say I know how she feels, I can only speculate how I would feel if my daughter was taken from me. No mother should ever have to deal with something like this.

Thank you to every one of you who have searched, hoped, and prayed for Theresa’s return over the past year. I know we all wish we could look up and see her walking through the door safe. Perhaps the past year has only been a very bad dream! I so wish that could be true, but I am afraid it is a very sad reality. Now we just need to bring her home to her family so they can begin to have some closure.

Keeping all the family in my prayers,
Carol Cannon

Read your PM on the proboard site.

Happy New Years to all of you here. Pray that 2008 will bring answers.

Good evening, all. I don't post often, (but I read a couple of times a day--at least) I just feel the need to make this comment tonight.

We are now at the "eight months missing" point. Please PRAY. I know, as a mother, the effects this has to be having on Theresa's mom (as well as the rest of the family). I can't begin to imagine how she is continuing to survive, not yet knowing what happened to her beloved daughter.

Dawgfan, please let "mom" and the girls know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you daily, but especially at this very trying point. Our love to the family, from the Cannon's.

No, Chloe, Theresa never had children...that is why she was so close to her sisters' kids.
