Kids are everywhere...the dept of corrections needs to consider whether or not the inmate has been "CORRECTED" or not before they even make the decision to let them out.And just like you said...not all the offenses are against kids....like it not these offenders are human beings and some do actually go to jail innocent...also some do actually make a change.

No rome I have'nt been to the magistrate.I did'nt know that I could do this.I have'nt been advised of this until now but I have seriously thought about gett ing a copy of the report and taking it to the social security office this week since I'm off every day this week.My brother is in a nursing home and I am his power of attorney so I may persue this action first.Thank you rome and irish.

I know of a person that stole my brothers SSI check...forged her sisters name to the check..there was a police report did on it and also the proof that she did caught on video and this has been handed to one of the city investigators and it still has not been touched and this crime took place on Sept.30.Me and my sister did most of the detective work ourselves but we could'nt arrest her...when will he ever get to it?This is just as important to me as any thing else he has to do but it's like it don't matter to him.

I posted this yesterday and the more I thought about it after I posted it the more I knew it sounded wrong...the date the crime took place was July30,2007....it was the Aug. check that was stolen...I won't name the name of the investigator but he has placed this on the back burner like it did'nt happen...we saw all this take place and called the police to make a report and get the video tape with proof of her doing this and made it so easy that all he had to do was make the arrest but nothing..NOTHING..has been done about it.
I know it has nothing to do with Theresa but this is the LPD for ya.Is'nt forgery a felony and would'nt it be a federal offense with it being an SSI check?She even signed her sister's name on it as the endorser.

As for having detectives in the DV Task Force, the LPD would have a problem because as far as I know they have one detective, the assistant chief who is also a detective and they get help from the Drug Task Force. They haven't got enough people to investigate crimes never mind be responsible for DV. Someone correct me on this if I'm wrong.

No I'm not taking it as nasty like you said....but God looks on the heart.I do know however that sometimes just like you said they use God to play on peoples sympathies.But there are also some that are honest in talking about the Lord and the testimony that they will have once they get out but they also know that the Lord will provide for their needs.But the judging I'm talking about is saying whether so and so got saved while locked up and we want proof..thats not for us to decide but I know that God will bless people who will write and help people that are in prison.They all need somebody...no matter what they did to get there...the Bible says to love everyone..it does'nt say unless they are in prison and could possibly have jail house religion..it says love all men

rome...I respect everything you post here..I can read and know that you know what you are talking about and that's good enough for me.There will be CURIOUS people here that will pick you in trying to figure out how "you are closer to the case than we think"...I'm just thankful that you are here..I don't need to analyze you to know that you are up to your heart in this...thanks for being here
