oh yeah, I just THINK I've got it figured out. When he becomes a teen, we'll be in new ball game. I just believe that if we discipline them now at a younger age, it will help in the future. Let them know early what the consequences are when they do take the wrong road, and make em pay. Yeah, I wish the teachers could discipline the kids too with something besides "time out". But it is up to us to punish them when they act up in school since the teachers cant. And I know his teacher really appreciated it when I did. She told me so herself. If he misbehaved in class, and got his "crayon pulled". He lost play privelidges for that day after school. His teacher said she wished all parents would do that. That it makes a big difference in class for the kids to know they will get in trouble at home for acting up in school. I believe society is changing their minds on the spanking thnig. Parents are seeing what not spanking is doing to our kids. Im with ya on the difference in tearing that hindend up and mistreating. Theres a big difference. My Mama switched my legs with a hickory switch on a regular basis. I needed it and I THINK I turned out to be a pretty good person. To all you folks that are afraid of spanking your little ones, dont be. And the ones that are not, spank on!! lol The Lord said to do it. And I think we can trust in HIM. Have a good night! |

I dont have to spank mine either, but I sure will when he steps out of line. There is no warning. He already knows the rules, rights and wrongs. And he knows the consequences already. He would be humiliated if he got in trouble out in public. I am thankful I have been blessed with a wonderful little boy. I think I may have had to tan his hide only 2-3 times in our first year together. And yeah, he's 8 and he'd rather get his butt tanned than have his playtime taken away. During the summer, he only has 1 hour gametime a week, so that doesnt bother him that much. It's the dirtbike he misses. However we discipline our kids, if more parents would just do that, it would make a difference in our town and the world. |

Oh well, maybe one more. I just realized on the other blogs that are set up for griping, there's no where near the drama. You people are turning on each other instead of working together to help find your friend. Think about it! |

OOPS! Yeah, and my neighbor was watering their grass today. Who cares about grass? Water your garden to feed your family, but your grass. I guess some folks just dont care or dont realize what's going on. They were watering in the middle of the day and right in the city limits. Last I heard, it was NO WATERING, EVEN GARDENS. |

You people are really pathetic. I read this blog to kinda keep up on the investigation of tp. It is nothing more than a bi#ch session anymore. You guys are argueing about who knows the most and get mad if you dont agree with each other. This blog needs to be called something else. At the end of the bi#ch session, you say "praying for tp and her family". Yall are gettin worked up over someone you dont even know. Everyone has opinions and is allowed to express it, but come one! Give us a break with the drama. (I mean give yourselves a break)Not that anyone cares, but I will no longer even read this blog. Yall are not even concerned about how and what to do to find tp. Yall are worried about who knows the most info and how you know it and who else dont know what they are talking about. This is no longer of any interest to me. There's other ways to keep up with the investigation. Too much nonsense and drama for me. And if tp's family reads this blog, Im sure they are really proud of the nonsense. Happy bi#ching! No need to respond. I want be here to read it. Unless you just want to amuse yourselves with some more drama. |

Meee tooo! It is the parents fault that children are so unruling. The "Im not gonna tell you but one more time" recks my nerves too. If you would pop that mouth ONE time, you wouldnt have to say that anymore. Everywhere I go, people talk about how they are scared to spank them ,or pop their kids mouth. . But now there are all kinds of talk shows about how our parents need to get back to the way it used to be. Spare the rod, spoil the child. Sooooooo true. You have to love you kids but be the parent, not their best friend, and that includes being the dominant member of the household. I have saw some wonderful people live in "hell" because they let their children rule the home. |
