I am so very sorry for the loss of your son and brother. Becoming a US Marine is an amazing endeavor on the part of so many of our young men and women. I know you are all very proud of Will's accomplishments. It is a difficult task to stay strong and supportive when a loved one has made a choice that makes you proud, but frightened. My son has been in boot camp at Parris Island for only one week. He, like Will, is interested in being part of an elite group of individuals. The love and support we give to our own family members, as well at the military as a whole, means so much more than words can say. I was touched to read that Will shared a dedication to the armed forces before he even enlisted. I will pray for your healing, your health and your strength during this difficult time. "When we look upon Heaven's scenes, we see the streets guarded by United States Marines."
