I have a question, that maybe someone knows the answer to.The other night on Nancy Grace, they were discussing the arraignment hearing of Casey Anthony. It was said that from the date of an arraignment in the State of Florida, there is a 190 day deadline. That a trial must start before that deadline, or the person walks. That is hard to believe, surely a person does not get off that easy??? What are the time frames for arraignment dates & the starting of the trial deadlines in the state of Georgia? Is there one? |

This is really terrible. It does not look good for sure.I have a thought~or~a question? If the last time that Judy Payne was seen by her husband was at 7a.m. when she left for work, then WHERE did he think she was when the time came for her to be home from work? AND.....she was not home??? Did he call her work looking for her? Does she have a cell phone that he would have called? Something very strange here...... |

A few weeks ago, I saw something rather interesting on the A & E network.There was a young girl that came up missing, with no real leads as to what had happened to her. But, there was a person of interest, that the local LE brought in for questioning. During his interview, his very actions & statements only increased the suspicion of LE. So, the POI's vehicle was brought in for inspection of anything that pertained to the young girl. Also, at this time the GPS system was removed from the POI's vehicle. Upon the viewing of the recorded information on the POI's GPS system, it was observed that on the date of question, the POI went to two rather odd out of the way places. Both places were away from an area of civilization, being out in the country ~basically in the middle of nowhere~ So, LE set up to go check out the first place the POI had gone. They took with them, the cadaver dogs. Shortly after they arrived at the 1st site, the dogs found an area of interest. This 'grave' was dug up, all they found was, a plastic bag, with duct tape & hair attached to the tape~the same color as the young girl. [The hair, was later proved to be hers] Next, they went to the 2nd site that had showed up on the POI's GPS system. The cadaver dogs quickly located another 'grave' area to be dug. It was here that the young girl was found, dead. I had not realized that so much information was available from a GPS. Very glad to know that it is though. Since we know that it was MOST likely that Sam used Theresa's vehicle to take her wherever he hid her. Does anyone know IF Theresa's vehicle was equipped with a GPS?? If not, then that may be another reason he used her car to take her, but I think he used her car to take her off, so it would look like she herself was out & about & all was well for her. Maybe he did not think about the GPS??? But, IF her vehicle was equipped with it, then that is WHY, LE does not need to call out for searches. They know exactly where to look. Just add this little bit of info to the cell phone records: Then all the nay saying that the defense can struggle to come up with, is a very vain frugal attempt, that will come to naught. I just wanted to throw this out there, because we hear so very little ~let's hope that the reason we do not hear anything, is due to the fact of All the information LE has got~ As usual, these are just some of my thoughts, but the information on the A & E network~as far as I know~true. Friend, Yes I just knew that Al had no idea of what was there.When I saw it, I felt like my eyes were not seeing correctly. Al has done a great job, I just wish that someone either knew how to reach her, or she had a helper that keeps a check on things. I guess that ole devil just keeps on & on. But, he won't win in the end. |

Ya'll I am distraught, mortified, ashamed, dismayed over what I saw on the other site. As I had thought it was a site for our missing Theresa. I sure hated to see that. O My Goodness, I just do not understand. ********************************************************************* Praying for Theresa's Family Always Selah |

Check Thank You, yes I wrote 'A Mothers Love' from my heart.Sometimes in life the events that take place feel as if we can never over them. When you ponder these things, they just overwhelm the mind. You think : "How" is it possible that someone you know can come along & destroy your entire life right along with your childs? "How" is it possible to ever go on? Because you know that things will NEVER be the same. "How" do you pick up the pieces? "How" can you bear to remember? BUT "How" can you forget? There are some things we may never know. I DO know that without any doubt, there is nothing that anyone can do or say that will make any of this any easier for Theresa's Mama or her family. Whether Sam is found guilty & is sentenced to death or life or not. Will not bring Theresa back , BUT ~ for sure he should have to pay for what he has done~Without Doubt The emptiness that he caused will still be here. A Mother's Heart will never forget this pain. Although, the rest of the family love her Dearly, it is the Mother that remembers from day 1, and grew each day with that child. It is the Mother that has given her entire life for the child. I know this has affected all , it is just a Terrible Uncalled for Heartless crime. I was just trying to say how I felt about this Great Lose. Yes TT, I agree with you ,aleamon has really done a good job, on keeping us up on current events. I think she has a whizz of a brain. Gagal, sure finds the information too. Glad Willow is back, sure missed her input, AND where is nanna? Even Bubba, keeps us thinking......and Irish & woosta, hi Friend, nicole, handy, Trevan, Dawgfan, familyfinder, & everyone else. I am glad that most of you are still here. Each and everyone of you have your very unique distintive ways, that seem to come through in the words you write. I think that each of you are a treasure Yes~Rome~you too. I know that all of us here, really do care about Theresa & her family and wish there was something that we could do. Hopefully soon Theresa will be found and brought home for a sacred resting place. I wonder IF sam is sitting in that cell & thinking about maybe if he tells where she is, he would perhaps get a lighter sentence??? You know I was thinking, about a little monument for Theresa. Maybe in the form of a Lite Candle, not an actual lite one ~just made to "Look Lite" ~ Made out of granite or marble or some everlasting stone. Place it somewhere in your town, for All to see ~For All Time~ So no one Ever Forgets Theresa. Even a hundred or more years from now, when those that come after us, will look at this monument....and say " I see Theresa was well loved" These are just some of my thoughts Prayers for Theresa's Family Always Selah |

Very well said Check, maybe when Theresa was not at home when sam thought she would be ~that is when bc got himself out of pocket~sort of speaking~ and that is why sam had to call him later? Hard to believe it has been almost a year, since that terrible night. With that said~ A Mothers Love Upon the Birth of a Baby Girl, The Lord has Blessed Her with the knowledge of Mothering. The Baby Girl grows up with this secret inner knowing and enhancing with The "Mothering" of her dolls, kittens, and puppies. Then one day when the Lord sees His Girl is ready, He Blesses her with a Real Baby of her own. Time moves on, and the Mother's children have grown up. Although The Lord has Blessed Mothers in The Untaught Language of Motherhood; He did not Bless Mothers to stop being a Mother. All Babies need to be Mothered, and a Mother will accomplish this until the day The Lord calls her home. In her Heart, she knows this is the way The Lord intended her life to be. There are No Regrets, Only Love without question. To be a Mother is The Greatest Honor in Life. To be the child, is to know Love that transcends Time, Distance and Death, and follows on to Heaven. That Love will be Just as Strong, even when Forever is Yesterday. And to Ask Why? There are No Whys ~Only Mothers~ With A Love That Strong~It Will Never End These things are gifts from God and He does not put a time limit on that Love. He Gave That Love Freely No One Can Take It Away With prayers for Theresa's Mama & All her family Selah |

bubba, you may be right~but.....in thinking about the fact that bc went into Theresa's private account on her computer, by sam's request~ I really believe it was because of sam wanting information on her. Perhaps in regard to info on any male friend or what she was planning on doing? Remember they were already getting a divorce. He was wanting to know who else was in her life, as if someone had intrigued her to get the divorce. What or Who would influence her to finally decide to get a divorce? That is what he wanted to know. Who really knows what they found in her account? Probably nothing, and that was more upsetting to him, then IF something was found. sam, not wanting to be duped by a mere wife, had to get even with her for ruining his life. Because it was her that told him she wanted the divorce, even though it appeared well with him~it was not. As was proven by his actions. So, he set his plan into action, he did not want to lose his control over her. Could not accept the fact, that she wanted free, just to be free of him. He planned his work~then~he worked his plan. He layed out his plan, well in advance, we know that because of the fact of her not being found? AND...from his prior statements about him being able to kill & hide the body & it not being found. But, also we know that because of the fact of bc going into her PC account & sam not being able to lift things because of his hip & we know of that phone call sam made to bc on the night that Theresa went missing. Those two at least are responsible for this crime. But, I like most of you are worried about~who the judge in question~may decide to do? When is the next time that sam may be able to come up for a bond hearing? Will it be the same judge? Will the same witness be called or will what was said last time be taken into consideration? Will anyone be monitoring this procedure to insure that there is no deceit or underhanded actions from the "powers that be"? Hard to believe it has been almost one whole year, since Theresa has been seen. My prayers are with you Dawgfan & all Theresa's family. Is anyone planning anything to commemorate Theresa? Naturally we all have our own opinions, this is mine. Selah |

Gagal thanks for that information.I wonder IF someone will give that article to SP to read? Maybe that would give him something to do while he sits & thinks. Welcome back Willow so nice to see you I hope all is well with you. I have missed yours & romegasir's debating things. You too seem to keep things active & then you get TT stirred up. Dawgfan, how are you & the family doing? Please know that I am praying for you all. |

Although, I could not find a deadline of any dates from the time of the arraignment to the time of a trial.
So, maybe in Georgia there is no such deadline.
Criminal Process in Georgia
I did notice this bit of information listed under:
Arraignment
Not guilty plea: A "not guilty" plea asserts that you did not commit the crime with which you were accused.
After your plea, a pre-trial or trial date will be set.
~~~I know that Sam Parker had his arraignment in Feb & that he pled Not Guilty.
So.....Was There a Pre-Trial or Trial Date set?
As this is the normal course of events according to Georgia Law???
