To whom it may concern,

I do enjoy reading the stores about our local school sports and recreation sports. I was wondering if a thought of putting high school box scores into the sports section. I think it would be a wonderful addition to sports second and can give gratification to the student athlete to see the box score, especially if it reads 3-4 HR, Double, 4 RBIs, and 3 run scored. Or a pitcher with a line of 6 innings pitched 7 Ks, 2 BB, 1 ER, and a win. I feel that adding box scores to the sports section could be good for the students and our local school sports. I just think of Josh Smoker that pitched for Calhoun last year and this year he is playing rookie ball for the Washington Nationals farm team. Lastly, I think it would be a good tool, if another scout came through the area looking for the next Josh Smoker. All the scout would have to do is pick up the paper and see the outline of the game via the box score. We have talent in our area and I think adding box scores can only help our high school community.

BTW- I follow minor league baseball as well and I would also like to see the Rome Braves box score in the paper.
