I just saw pictures from Lake Weiss, grass, everywhere water should be. I have never seen this before and I think it is some scary stuff! Imagine if everyone in the drought area (which includes GA, ALA, TENN, NC) had to relocate? This after jobs shut down because of lack of water. It would be a catastrophe unlike any other we have seen. Long term, we need to be able to pipe in water from other areas like we do gas. |

Turner Mccall McDonald's: Have you had a bad experience there? We gave up on getting a quality breakfast there, it always came out worse than nursing home food. But we stuck with the value menu. We began to notice that it was costing more each time, even though we pretty much order the same thing each time, but no reciept would be in the bag. But the investigator in me kicked in, and I caught the clerk ringing up one amount but charging a higher amount. Next time, (different clerk) I asked for my reciept and she said she put it in the bag, she did, in the very bottom. When we got home and checked, sure enough she quoted to us, and we paid, a higher amount than the reciept. I reported it to the manager on duty, she didn't try to help us, she just asked if the girl at the window did this and said she would take care of it. Didn't even try to offer our money back. I reported it online to corporate, they said the local store would contact me soon. They haven't. Needless to say, we don't go there anymore. Since then I have paid closer attention to other places we eat, mostly run by kids, and you know what? they just don't give a ---- what you get, how it's cooked, if your order is right or wrong, are you satisfied, ect. I wish we had at least one fast food restraunt that is run by persons of maturity who know that even if you by the least expensive items, they should be cooked well, served well, and customers should not regret having come there. |

BTW blogeye, if it ruins their futures as you say, then so be it, commit the crime , do the time, in this case, have on your record for the rest of your life that you would willingly allow children to drink. That IS a criminal act. A serious one. |

You ahve got to be kidding me. I cannot believe some of you are decriminalizing the action of allowing underage sales. It IS a criminal act. Why? Does it really need to be explained? It is your responsibilty to check, REALLY check an ID, before placing a drink order. If you do sell to a minor, then you are responsible if said minor leaves and crashes into another vehicle and kills themself or someone innocent. Because children cannot handle their booze. That is why we don't let them drink, that and the health risks. And damage to brain cells. Is it okay to sell children any other given controlled substance? Of course not! These servers, no matter how busy, have a legal obligation. Personally I don't think an 18 year old should have a license to serve, you know full well they are going to take advantage and serve up there buddies a drink! You know when you get the license to serve what your responsiblities are and what the law is, any of you who think it isn't criminal, well, it is probably your kid who's either serving or drinking, most likely. |
