The last time I checked teachers do not work 9-5. I have friends who are educators, and they work 50-60 hours a week but get paid for 40. Educators are never paid overtime for the extra hours that is involved in their thankless occupation.

Just because someone is on the computer does not excuse the misusage of th eEnglish lanugage. It is bad enough to listen to million dollar athletes who cannot speak a complete sentence. If I choose to use the Internet, I attempt to write in a cohesive manner. I am not going anywhere because some people on here are obnoxious. I am much stronger than that!!!

I have not encountered the "new version" of more dumb being accepted in the English grammar concept. That is quite odd since I edit/revise many written texts for clients. As for howardb becoming personal with you, I actually felt as though this was initiated from your end of the conversation. It was as though you took it personally that her ex allowed his new wife to cross the lines as a stepmom.

This Doctor of Ed would like to know why I have been associated with Calhoun Schools. Is it offensive to think someone with a bit of intelligence could have an opinion that does not coincide with some of you cyber buddies?

I believe the correct grammar here would be dumber, not "more and more dumb." Dumb is conjugated dumb, dumber, dumbest. More or most is not used prior to dumb.
