mdsp ---------Thank you! It isn't anyone's business how I vote. Call it what you want - Democart - Republican - it doesn't matter to me - But I will be voting for Andy Hames. The problem with BettyJo as I have stated more than once -- she keeps calling me Andy's wife. I'm sure his wife probably doesn't appreciate that. I know both of them. Very nice people.

BettyJo -- If your comment is referring to sbrown as being Andy's wife -- once again -- I am NOT Andy's wife. And yes I will be voting for Andy and I am sure his wife will be also. There is more than one Susan Brown as I have told you before -- And Andy's wife goes by Hames for her last name. And no - we are not the only Replublicans voting for Andy.

usafvet ----- I like your thinking too. Sounds like you know Walker County pretty well. We have lost too many businesses in Lafayette as well as the county. Something needs to be done to get this reversed -- Andy Hames is the MAN!!! It's pretty obvious for the past few years business is going in the wrong direction and too much interest is put in tourism. Our tax money should be directed to things the people of the county need --- jobs, water lines, roads, sewage, etc. How much money has the Marsh House brought in??? It is time for a change --- 8 years is enough!! Can we really stand 4 more years? Pigeon Mountain is one of the few natural beauties left. What a shame to destroy! If green space is so important - put the convention center where KMart used to be or where Sweetheart Cup used to be. Makes more sense to me! Lafayette is the seat of Walker County and is going to be a ghost town with a convention center. Great. Just what we need.

BettyJo --- What a small small world to think there is only one Susan Brown in Walker County. I am Susan Brown and the reason I do not have Hames for my last name is because he is not my spouse. I do work at Hutcheson Medical Center and happen to know Andy Hames. His wife does not work and her name is Susan Brown Hames. You need to get your facts straight. Andy Hames is a very intelligent man and would be a great asset to Walker County as our commissioner. Personally, I would vote for him 1,000 times if I could.
